A recall was issued on 13th August due to the likelihood of injury if metal is consumed. It applies only to Baby Macro Organic Tomato Chicken with Pasta Puree 120g with a best before the date of 7th August 2014.
Woolworths Ltd has recalled Baby Macro Organic Tomato Chicken with Pasta Puree from all Woolworths, Safeway and Thomas Dux stores nationally after an Adelaide mother found a metal blade inside a pouch of the Woolworths baby food product. The mother found a complete blade in the pouch and raised the alarm.
Woolworths has released a statement advising customers who have purchased the product to return it to their nearest Woolworths store for a full refund. In the statement, the company advised that this is an isolated incident and no other products are affected.
